iPhone Fold Product Campaign

iPhone Fold Product Campaign

As part of my senior capstone, I had to choose a company and create a design and marketing campaign around it. For this project, I developed a concept product campaign for Apple’s rumored iPhone Fold.

My goal was to match Apple’s clean, minimal, and premium visual style as closely as possible while bringing my own design direction into the campaign. Since the iPhone Fold had not been released at the time of the project, I modeled, textured, and rigged the phone in Blender to create the marketing assets.

For the main phone color, I chose Alpine Green, a fan-favorite but rare color originally released as a mid-cycle refresh for the iPhone 13 lineup. I wanted to reintroduce a popular color for a potential controversial product because of its rumored high price. This color helped the concept feel familiar to Apple’s existing product language while still giving the campaign a fresh and distinct visual identity.

Logo Design

Apple often uses subtle logo variations to hint at the theme of its upcoming events, usually targeted towards their newest product. For this campaign, I created a custom Apple-inspired logo for the event invitation, using the original Apple shape as the base and replacing the leaf with a butterfly.

The butterfly represents transformation, elegance, and movement. When its wings are closed, it appears as one flat form, but when it opens, it reveals something more dynamic. This became a meaningful visual metaphor for the first folding iPhone and supported the idea of a secret “one more thing” product reveal.
